Day 010

Rigging take 2. I decided to use XSI CDK (Character Development Kit), it took me lots of 'trial and error' to make it work, getting there...

 
 


The first massive problem was to get the elbow oriented correctly.



I fixed the elbow by now, but it will need some re-adjustment later.



Adding the tale using the CDK 'duplicate  bones' property.



The wings were made using some basic VBscripting, and the CDK scripts that create individual parts (arm + hand).

 

At this point I realized that if you delete the extra fingers the whole rig of the hand breaks.
